Ground floor apartment 43D has two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a balcony overlooking landscaped gardens which gets the sun from lunchtime to the early evening. This is a recently painted apartment with easy access to the outdoor swimming pool and all the amenities of the Country Club.  

The apartment caters well for children.  It is a ground floor apartment with no balcony access from the bedrooms.  It is also close to the outdoor pool which makes going back and forwards between the apartment and the pool easier.  We have a good selection of childrens DVDs, books, pool and beach toys.  There is also a buggy available for use in the apartment.

Notes on prices

Prices are for property per week in UK pounds. Welcome pack optional extra.  Further maid service can be arranged at extra cost.  We ask for a GBP150 pw non refundable deposit and the balance 10 weeks before departure.  Please advise how many adults and children (ages) in your group.  Euro payments are also accepted.

Extra bed can be arranged at extra cost. 

No smoking.

Changeover

Any day.  Arrival 2.00pm/3pm.  Departure 10.00am.  Negotiable if no prior bookings.

Kitchen Fully equipped kitchen with ceramic hob & oven, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, oven and fridge/freezer.
Living rooms Open-plan lounge/dining with seating for 5.  Two and 3 seater sofas.  TV, radio, CD, cassette and video machine, leading to balcony.
Cleaning/towels/linen/maid service Maid service for fortnight stays to include towel change, linen change and clean.  All linen, bath towels and separte pool towels are provided.
Amenities/facilities Electricity and water included. Iron/ironing board. Cot & highchair .

Landscaped gardens.  Patio furniture to include table, 6 chairs, parasol and 2 sunloungers. Communal pool and heated covered pool, poolside bar and restaurant, tennis, putting green, fitness and leisure centre and beauty salon are all close by.  Parking space opposite.

Beach and village

5 minute easy stroll to village of Alvor

Beach 15 minute walk or 5 minutes by car to shaded parking.  Guests can enjoy free sunloungers and umbrellas subject to availability at the time.  There is a good choice of restaurants.  Also a stunning harbour with promenade & cafes and start of 3 mile boardwalk around Alvor Bay and sand dunes running parallel to the beautiful long white sandy beach.

Directions

Faro airport is 45 minutes drive. A car is not absolutely necessary when staying at the Alto Club. Car hire or taxis can be arranged.

To reach apartment 43D, from reception drive down the road and turn left. Continue to the end of the cul de sac and the apartment block is directly in front of you.

Alto golf course is 2 km from the resort, designed by Sir Henry Cotton.
