Clube Alvor Ria is a modern complex by the harbour in the village of Alvor. The apartment is on the ground floor, ideal for children. The complex has an outdoor pool, large sun terrace and car parking in a secured underground car park. For golf enthusiasts, the Alto Club and the championship course at Penina are about 5/10 minutes drive away. The long sandy beach, which boasts various eateries, is only a few hundred metres away and the fishing village of Alvor, with shops, restaurants and supermarket is directly next to the complex. Sport complex with public indoor swimming pool/tennis courts/skate boarding and hydro therapy baths are next to the complex.

Conditions

Prices are for property per week in UK Pounds for up to 4 persons sharing. Additional persons £50 per person, per week. 20% deposit on booking, balance due 10 weeks before departure. Electricity and water included. Mid-stay linen change (on stays of 2 weeks or more at the end of each week). Welcome pack and additional maid service can be arranged at extra cost.

Changeover Day

Preferred Saturday arrivals should be after 3pm and departures 10am. Flexible changeover days to suit your flights. Outside of peak time change over day is negotiable.

Alvor beach is approximately 500m.

Golf

The golf courses of Alto Golf & Country Club and Penina are 5 minutes by car.

Distance to shops

A larger supermarket is an easy 10 min walk. There are many small grocery stores amd shops located in the village. The retail park with a variety of shops is 10 minutes by car but also on the bus route.

The centre of the village is an easy 15 minutes walk on a wide pedestrian path.

The taxi rank and main bus stop are located on the approach to the village.

Distance to Restaurants

In the village of Alvor you are spoilt for choice with regards to restaurants.

Transport

Many guests do not bother with a hire car at all as the apartment is very central. We can arrange for a private airport transfer or there are also airport shuttle transfers available.  You can then hire a car in Alvor for the days you need if you so wish. This saves the hassle of queing up for a car hire on arrival (and returning on departure). 

 

Directions from Faro airport

On leaving the airport go straight along the dual carriageway for about a mile where you will see a turning on your right sign posted A22 Portimao\Lisboa. You will then join another dual carriageway through a commercial area, after about 2 miles keep left, follow signs A22 Portimao. Carry on for another mile take a turning to the right signpossted A22 Portimao / Lisboa. You are now on main A22 motorway heading West, keep on this motorway until you see the exit for Alvor which will be approx 30mins.
