The villa is set in a quiet prestigious area and is fully surrounded by a walled garden with nice views to the Monchique Mountains and from the roof terrace to Alvor sea-river. Large heated & lit salt water pool with outdoor shower surrounded by covered and sun terraces. In the subtropical garden with lawns and palm tree you will also find a stone made BBQ. Outdoor covered terrace next to living area with splendid pool and garden views, ideal for lunch or dinner and a sliding door to the living area with open fireplace, sat TV including all UK channels. Wi-Fi internet, CD/DVD player and open plan connection with dining room. Master bedroom with en-suite bathroom. All bedrooms and kitchen are on one level. Please note that all bathrooms as well as the kitchen were recently totally renovated, included double glazed windows. Villa has huge roof terrace offering total privacy.
Wheelchair accessability: The villa is more or less adapted for wheel chair users due to the fact that all is built at one level. No thresholds in villa itself. Guest bathroom has (safety) grips near toilet and shower. Villa was fully licensed (safety) in 2011.
For golf enthusiasts, the championship course at Penina and Henry Cotton’s last masterpiece, Alto Golf, are both 5 minutes’ drive away. Alvor’s long sandy beach is also 5 minutes by car. For thrill-seekers, the Algarve’s premier skydive centre is just 10 minutes’ walk away, at Portimão Municipal Aerodrome. For those interested in gentler pursuits, Alvor Bowls Club is less than 5 minutes' walk from the villa.

Conditions
After confirmation of availability and subsequent booking, a non-refundable deposit of 30% is required, and you will then also receive a contract with all other information to complete the booking.
The remaining 70% have to be paid 8 weeks before the start of holiday. The required damage deposit will be refunded to you after inspection by the manager after about one week after your departure.

The covered terrace at the back of the villa has pool and garden view, stone made BBQ area and outdoor shower. Garden / palm trees with indirect lighting. On the covered terrace you can enjoy a nightcap chilling out under the stars as the moon reflects in your own private pool.
Beach
Top villa at short distance from famous Meia Praia beaches (top 20 of the world). Alvor beach also has an extensive wooden boardwalk, ideal for strolling and bird watching with many species to be seen.
Golf
Alto Golf and the championship course at Penina are 5 minutes by car. Other courses (Morgado, Boavista, Silves, etc.) are within easy reach.
Distance to shops
5 minute’ walk to small supermarket with larger supermarkets in Alvor, which also has many small grocery stores and other shops. There are multiple shopping malls in Portimão, all with free parking.
Distance to Restaurants
Several restaurants / bars within a few minutes’ walk of the villa and around 135 others in Alvor.
Directions
A car would be useful. Villa owner / manager is happy to assist by renting a car(s), mini bus 7 seater usually at lower rates than provided at the airport 72km from the villa (about 45 minutes' drive via the A22 motorway).
Multiple options are also available for taxi/minibus transfers from the airport.
Montes Alvor is served by buses to Alvor and Portimão and is also on the main route into Alvor itself. Traditional taxis are available on call 24 hours per day. Uber also operates an excellent (and cheaper) service in the area.
